REDUX is examines the idea of the comfort zone, in the form of a graphical short story. It was realised as 30 pages of screen prints.
In terms of content, the struggle between the desire for real freedom and the preservation of a status quo, consisting of rituals and fixed behaviours, is depicted by means of a character living a hermit’s existence on a few square meters – who flees this cramped existence by entering digital worlds. When this system is sabotaged, an inner conflict arises within the protagonist. Moments of fear and uncertainty cause him to reflect on the situation and awaken in him a curiosity towards what he once escaped.
